🚀 About the Project Welcome to Eshop, a modern and scalable full-stack e-commerce platform designed using a microservice architecture. This project was built to simulate a real-world production e-commerce system rather than a simple monolithic application. It includes multiple independent services that communicate through APIs and event-driven messaging, along with cloud infrastructure, caching, authentication, payment processing, database management, and asynchronous communication. 🎥 In this video, I showcase the complete Eshop project, its architecture, major features, technologies, and how the different services work together to provide a seamless shopping experience. 🏗️ Architecture The application follows a Microservices Architecture, where different business functionalities are separated into independent services. Each service is responsible for a specific business domain and can be developed, deployed, and scaled independently. 🔹 Microservices The project is divided into multiple services responsible for areas such as: 👤 User / Authentication Service 🛍️ Product Service 🛒 Cart Service 📦 Order Service 💳 Payment Service 📧 Email / Notification Service These services communicate using REST APIs and asynchronous event-driven communication where appropriate. ⚡ Apache Kafka Apache Kafka is used for asynchronous communication and event-driven architecture. Kafka helps services communicate without being tightly coupled. For example: Order Created → Kafka Event → Payment Service → Notification Service This allows the system to process background operations asynchronously and improves scalability and reliability. 🚀 AWS Cloud The project integrates with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud infrastructure and deployment. AWS services are used to build a scalable and production-oriented environment.
